chris corsano / heather leigh murray: stereo: glasgow

oof.

there was something of the david lynch about this performance from murray and corsano.

at once erotic and frightening; sensual yet violent; unhinged but deliriously controlled.

it’s rock music.  oh it is.  it’s guitar, voice and drums; the molten core.  but it’s way out there.  it’s beyond.  past the horizon into somewhereorother.  and everything’s on fire.

it’s everything pure about music (among other things).  it’s free, open, wild (in every sense of the word).  it’s expression, release unencumbered by regulation.  it’s one building orgasm after another.

it was a single solitary expanse; disorientating and graceful.  tension then release then tension then release. straining, teasing, sudden and unexpectedly arranged.  it was everything other, against, satanic, in opposition to.  an articulation of the fear, of comfort of control of settling of having of containing.

it was the chthonic spirit set loose.

jesus it was beautiful.

a noise that could tear planets apart.

then finishing.

decidedly post-coital, post-fuck intense.

maybe that was just me.

You say that you’re bored, but your writing is anything but boring.
    Cheers
